This beginner-friendly hip hop class introduces young dancers to age-appropriate choreography, freestyle basics, and cool new moves to today's kid-friendly beats. With an emphasis on fun, creativity, and confidence, Mini Flex Hip Hop helps build rhythm, coordination, and stage presence. No experience needed—just a love of dance!
BREAKIN’
In this high-energy breakin' class, young dancers will learn the foundations of breaking—toprock, footwork, freezes, and simple power moves—all in a safe and supportive environment. With a focus on rhythm, coordination, and confidence, kids will build strength and style while expressing themselves through movement! -

In this dynamic breakin’ class, dancers will explore the core elements of breaking—toprock, downrock, freezes, and beginner power moves—while developing strength, control, and musicality. Designed for growing dancers ready to level up, this class encourages creativity, individuality, and confidence through drills and skill-building exercises. No experience needed!
HIP HOP
This upbeat hip hop class blends age-appropriate choreography with drills, foundation and musicality training, giving dancers the tools to express themselves through movement. With a focus on rhythm, coordination, and performance, Future Flex Hip Hop is perfect for dancers of all levels who want to gain confidence, learn fresh combos, and have fun in a supportive, high-energy space. -

Our recreational classes are grouped by age and open to all levels—no previous dance experience needed! Every class is designed to be fun, supportive, and skill-building. We prioritize the growth of each individual dancer. If we see your child is ready for more of a challenge, we’ll personally reach out with tailored suggestions—whether that’s moving up an age group, exploring our competitive program, or trying a private lesson. Our goal is to help every dancer thrive at their own pace!

We totally get it! That’s why we now offer term-by-term registration. If you're unsure, we recommend registering for Term 1 (September–December) using the deposit option. This keeps your upfront commitment lower while still holding your spot.

Families who wish to withdraw from a program must notify us in writing via email at kidz@runtheflex.com.
If you decide to cancel before January 1, 2026, we will refund any tuition paid beyond your cancellation date, less a $50 admin fee. (Please note: deposits are non-refundable.) There are no refunds after January 1, 2026.
Note: Starting in January, our dancers begin working on show choreography and group formations. For this reason, we ask families to commit by January 1 so that all dancers can shine confidently on stage and feel part of the team.

Welcome to Run The Flex (RTF), we’re Aaron and Nicole, Toronto-based dance artists (and proud new parents ourselves)! We’re so excited to have you here as part of our community.
Before opening our doors at 893 Yonge Street, RTF started as a passion project where we taught hundreds of students how to feel confident and have fun while dancing. After teaming up with one of our longtime students, Lisa, RTF officially opened in January 2023, and we’ve been building something special ever since!
We’re beyond proud that RTF has become a central hub for dancers of all ages in the heart of Toronto, creating a space where everyone can feel like they belong.
With Hip Hop and Street Dance at our core, we’re passionate about preserving the cultural roots of Hip Hop while offering a variety of dance styles and levels. Our classes and programs are designed to nurture their growth, confidence, and creativity of all dancers.
